My Experience:

On a Sunday morning, right as church got out, my girlfriend and I both had our stomachs start growling at the exact same time, and we both knew we needed to get some food now. There were many places that were closed, and most of the breakfast places were a bit of a drive, and we didn’t feel like going too far. As we began to explore our options, we remembered One World, and since I had never been there before, we decided to give it a try.

As we got there, the wait was actually not too long, despite it being fairly busy in there. Once it was our turn, we were seated our booth nice and promptly. Might I say, the staff there was really nice from the host to the server, they were all genuinely nice people.

Once we got the menu, we were met with some fun names of the food items (one of the items was named the ‘Elvis Waffle’, named after Elvis Presley’s favorite kind of pancakes). After carefully sifting through, I decided to go with a classic biscuits and gravy meal with a side of bacon strips, hashbrowns, and orange slices. This was really good food, and I am a sucker for good breakfast food. The biscuits were nice and soft and the gravy was cooked very well. I’ve had gravy in the past from other places that have almost tasted burnt or even smoked, but this was not the case, and this was cooked very well. The hashbrowns were pretty good, nothing out of the ordinary but they were still good, and the bacon strips were very similar; nothing special, but exactly what you need it to be. The orange slices were a great addition though to the breakfast, and it helped pull everything together.

I would really recommend coming here. They have so many different options for food, and you really cannot go wrong with any of it (and if you go, PLEASE get the peanut butter pie).

Left: Biscuits and gravy

I have been to One World quite a few times during my time here and I have never had a bad experience. I personally love the Cuban pork sandwich and get it every time but I think I will take your suggestion and branch out if every menu item is up to the quality of their Cuban sandwich. Finally you went somewhere that I have been before so I can actually relate to it. 8.75 is a great spot to put it that I would agree with.
